Milestone Aviation Sells Three Airbus H225 Helicopters to Austria's Kitz-Air for Firefighting Ops 

DUBLIN, Ireland  August 24, 2026  Milestone Aviation Group Limited, the global leader in helicopter leasing, has announced the sale of three Airbus H225 helicopters to Kitz-Air GmbH, an Austria-based operator specializing in heavy-lift, transport, and special missions, marking a significant commercial transaction within the Helicopters Market as demand for aerial firefighting capacity continues to intensify globally. 

The three aircraft, already delivered to Kitz-Air in July 2026, will undergo modification and conversion work in Europe before entering service in aerial firefighting operations across Europe and South America. The transaction also marks Kitz-Air's first acquisition from Milestone, establishing a new long-term customer relationship between the two companies.
