NVIDIA Chief Executive Jensen Huang will attend the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) CEO Summit in South Korea from October 28 to 31, where he is set to emphasize NVIDIA’s work across artificial intelligence, robotics, digital twins and autonomous vehicles.
NVIDIA said Huang will take part in summit activities intended to underscore the company’s efforts to advance technology and drive growth in Korea and globally through AI, robotics, digital twins and autonomous vehicles.
During the CEO event—which runs alongside the APEC leaders’ summit—Huang is expected to meet senior executives at Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix, both of which supply memory chips used in AI data centers. Samsung declined to comment, while SK Hynix was not immediately available for comment.
The summit takes place amid heightened trade and regulatory tensions: Reuters reports that China recently accused NVIDIA of violating its anti-monopoly law. In addition, U.S. President Donald Trump confirmed plans to meet Chinese President Xi Jinping in South Korea during the same period, raising the prospect of discussions on trade.
Next Move Strategy Consulting notes that Huang’s participation and planned meetings highlight the continuing importance of close coordination between chip designers and memory suppliers as AI deployments scale. Emphasizing AI, robotics, digital twins and autonomous vehicles at a high-profile regional forum strengthens NVIDIA’s position in technology diplomacy and industry collaboration, while also signalling to regional partners the company’s focus on end-to-end ecosystem enablement in AI infrastructure.
