The scope excludes consumer and commercial drones, as well as industrial, healthcare, warehouse, and service robots that are not intended for military use. Conventional manned military platforms without robotic or autonomous capabilities are not considered. Standalone missiles, weapons, radar systems, communication equipment, and generic electronic components sold separately are also excluded. The study does not cover standalone cybersecurity solutions, defense IT software, space robotics, or military satellites. Research-stage prototypes that have not entered active deployment, procurement, or operational use are outside the scope. Additionally, non-military law enforcement, homeland security, and public safety robotic systems are excluded from the analysis.
