At the 2025 Google Cloud Next event, Google reinforced its leadership in enterprise AI by rolling out innovations spanning compute architecture, generative models, AI agents, productivity enhancements, and security — all aimed at transforming business operations.

Ironwood, our 7th-generation TPU built for inference, will be available later this year. Compared to the prior generation, Ironwood offers five times more peak compute capacity and six times the high-bandwidth memory capacity.

The Gemini model line continues its rapid growth, with over four million developers integrating Gemini, Imagen, and Veo — driving a 20× rise in Vertex AI usage over the past year. Notably, Gemini 2.5 Flash (low-latency, cost-optimized) and Gemini 2.5 Pro (advanced reasoning with Deep Think mode) are being added to Vertex AI in the coming months.

Empowering Productivity in Workspace

New AI capabilities are rolling out across Google Workspace apps like Docs, Sheets, Meet, and Chat. These features embed Gemini’s intelligence directly into daily workflows, boosting efficiency and collaboration.

Next Gen Tools for AI Agent Development

Google expanded its AI Agent toolkit with enhancements in Agentspace and introduced an AI Agent Marketplace in the Cloud Marketplace. Developers gain access to the open source Agent Development Kit (ADK) and Agent2Agent (A2A) protocol for interoperable agent communications, simplifying creation, discovery, and adoption.

Strengthened Security & Global Networking

A new Google Unified Security portfolio unifies threat intelligence, cloud protection, and secure browsing under an AI powered umbrella. In parallel, Cloud WAN extends Google’s high-speed global network — the same backbone serving Gmail and Search — to enterprise customers worldwide.
