The Oneida County Department of Mental Health app is free and available on the Apple App Store and Google Play. Simply search for “OC C.A.R.E.S.” to download. The app was developed by ThePublicHealthApp.com, a brand of OCV, LLC.

The Assessment Framework for Mental Health Apps, developed collaboratively by the Organization for the Review of Care and Health Apps (ORCHA) and the Mental Health Commission of Canada (MHCC), evaluates apps based on seven key standards:

Clinical safety
Usability and accessibility for all users
Security and technical stability
Cultural safety, social responsibility, and equity
