LAS VEGAS, Nevada, United States September 28, 2026 The Health & Fitness Association (HFA) has announced a strategic three-way partnership with HYROX and Centr, bringing competitive fitness racing and official competition equipment to The HFA Show 2027 a development that underscores the accelerating convergence between professional trade events and the global fitness equipment market, which is projected to reach USD 16.56 billion by 2030, according to Next Move Strategy Consulting.
The partnership will connect fitness industry professionals attending The HFA Show scheduled for March 10–12, 2027, at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas with athletes and the broader fitness community participating in HYROX Las Vegas, set for March 12–14 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The overlapping event calendar is central to the collaboration's strategic design.
"The energy and active communities surrounding The HFA Show and HYROX complement each other incredibly well," said Greta Wagner, HFA Interim President and CEO. "Giving those leaders the opportunity to experience the excitement, community and results that come from fitness competition feels like a natural progression of what we are seeing our own club and studio members want."
As part of the agreement, HFA members will have access to 100 participant registrations and 100 spectator tickets for the HYROX Las Vegas event. Centr and HYROX will also construct a simulated training environment within the Centr experience at The HFA Show, where attendees can explore HYROX Official Competition Equipment and assess how fitness racing and hybrid training formats could be integrated into their own facilities.
"The Centr x HYROX experience offers HFA guests a firsthand look at how to bring Official Competition Equipment and performance-backed training solutions to their customers," said Andrew Sugerman, CEO of Centr. "The experience will be a first of its kind at a commercial trade show and the start of a dynamic partnership between the three brands."
On the final day of The HFA Show March 12 the trade show floor will open to a select number of HYROX Las Vegas athletes and spectators with valid event passes, as well as HYROX-affiliated gym owners and coaches. This cross-audience integration is designed to give equipment exhibitors direct access to a highly engaged fitness consumer segment that typically does not attend industry trade shows.

Centr and HYROX will build a first-of-its-kind simulated HYROX race environment within The HFA Show's Centr booth at Mandalay Bay
HYROX Official Competition Equipment will be on display, enabling fitness operators to evaluate hybrid training solutions for facility integration
On March 12, HYROX athletes, spectators, and affiliated gym owners will gain access to The HFA Show trade floor, expanding exhibitor reach to performance-oriented consumers
According to analysts at Next Move Strategy Consulting, the global fitness equipment market was valued at USD 12.43 billion in 2021 and is projected to reach USD 16.56 billion by 2030, expanding at a CAGR of 2.8% over the forecast period. NMSC analysts note that strategic alliances between trade associations, competitive fitness brands, and equipment providers such as the HFA-HYROX-Centr collaboration reflect a broader industry shift toward experiential engagement models, which are increasingly influencing commercial equipment procurement decisions and facility programming strategies across gym and studio segments globally.
The HFA-HYROX-Centr partnership marks a notable evolution in how fitness trade events are structured, moving beyond conventional product showcases toward immersive, competition-integrated experiences. As hybrid training formats and fitness racing continue to gain mainstream traction among both recreational and performance-oriented consumers, equipment manufacturers and facility operators face growing pressure to demonstrate real-world application of their products. The integration of HYROX's competition ecosystem into a major industry trade show is expected to influence equipment adoption trends and facility investment decisions across the commercial fitness sector in the near term. Additional details regarding HFA member registration, VIP experiences, and event logistics are expected to be announced in the coming months.
