PharmaResearch to Acquire CG USA to Localize REJURAN Cosmetics Manufacturing in North America

SEOUL, South Korea — July 1, 2026 — PharmaResearch, the South Korea-based regenerative medicine company behind the REJURAN brand, announced a planned acquisition of California-based cosmetics manufacturer Cosmetic Group USA (CG USA) to localize production of its REJURAN cosmeceuticals line, a move aimed at securing supply stability as demand accelerates across the United States.

Main Development Section

PharmaResearch signed the acquisition agreement on June 30, local time, as demand for REJURAN Cosmetics continued to grow following the brand's launch at Sephora and its expanding presence on Amazon. Until now, the company had supplied the U.S. market with products manufactured in Korea.

CG USA is a Los Angeles-based OEM and ODM manufacturer that operates an FDA-registered facility, holds ISO 22716 certification, and maintains a quality management system aligned with current good manufacturing practice (cGMP) standards, with capabilities extending to over-the-counter product manufacturing. Financial terms were not disclosed, and Cosmo Group Inc. advised on the transaction.

Through the acquisition, PharmaResearch intends to establish a local manufacturing base to improve supply chain efficiency and market responsiveness across production, logistics and distribution, while advancing its localization strategy across the Americas. REJURAN Cosmetics is scheduled to enter Canada in the second half of the year.

Key Highlights:

  • PharmaResearch signed an agreement on June 30 to acquire California-based cosmetics manufacturer CG USA, with financial terms undisclosed.

  • The deal secures a local U.S. manufacturing base for the REJURAN Cosmetics derma-cosmetic line, built around the patented DOT™ c-PDRN® ingredient.

  • Demand growth is driven by the brand's Sephora launch and expanding Amazon distribution channel.

  • The company plans a Canada market entry in the second half of 2026 as part of its broader Americas expansion.

Analyst Insight:

NMSC analysts note that vertical integration of manufacturing near end markets is an increasingly common strategy among premium cosmeceutical players seeking to insulate supply chains from cross-border logistics volatility while accelerating regulatory-compliant, cGMP-grade production. The acquisition of an FDA-registered facility with OTC capabilities positions PharmaResearch to extend beyond cosmetics into adjacent regulated categories over the medium to long term.

Industry Outlook:

The transaction underscores continued momentum in the cosmeceuticals segment, where science-led, ingredient-driven brands are scaling through omnichannel retail and localized manufacturing. Pending completion, PharmaResearch's expanded North American footprint could strengthen its competitiveness in derma-cosmetics while laying groundwork for further growth across the Americas.
