RADICL has successfully closed a $31 million Series A funding round aimed at expanding the development of its autonomous security operations platform for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). The round was led by Paladin Capital Group, with participation from returning investors Access Venture Partners and Denver Ventures, alongside new backer Cervin Ventures.
As cyber threats increasingly leverage AI to automate attacks, traditional human-centric Security Operations Centers (SOCs) struggle to keep pace. RADICL specializes in an autonomous virtual SOC (vSOC) designed specifically for SMBs within the U.S. Defence Industrial Base. By combining AI-driven operators with human security teams in a single software-led experience, the platform delivers managed compliance, defense-in-depth, and operational transparency. SMBs have historically been left behind when it comes to robust security operations, says RADICL co-founder and CEO Chris Petersen. With AI accelerating threat actors, SMBs, particularly those supporting national security, need better options. RADICL delivers strong, comprehensive cyber defense at a scale and price point designed for smaller organizations.
The platform supports AI-enhanced threat detection and response, while its modular structure allows organizations to start with specific regulatory frameworks such as CMMC or NIST SP 800-171 and expand to broader defense capabilities. Human-AI collaboration ensures transparency while delivering managed security services tailored to SMBs supporting critical infrastructure.
The newly raised capital will accelerate the evolution of RADICL’s vSOC, with investments focused on enhancing AI-driven detection, investigation, and response functions. The flexible platform allows SMBs to grow their cybersecurity capabilities in line with evolving risks and compliance requirements.
According to the Next Move Strategy Consulting’s view, RADICL exemplifies a strategic shift in Cybersecurity Market. It notes that as AI-enabled threats increase, autonomous SOC platforms like RADICL’s can democratize enterprise-grade defense, providing smaller organizations with the visibility, resilience, and operational efficiency traditionally reserved for large enterprises.
By blending AI innovation with human expertise, RADICL positions itself as a key enabler for SMBs facing escalating cyber threats. The Series A funding marks a significant step toward delivering scalable, accessible, and high-impact cybersecurity solutions to historically underserved organizations.
