Ducati has introduced the 2025 Multistrada V2 to the Indian market, positioning the model as a refined iteration of its adventure-touring line-up with updated hardware, electronics and a lighter structure. The base Multistrada V2 is priced from Rs 18.88 lakh (ex-showroom), while the better-equipped Multistrada V2 S is offered from Rs 21 lakh for the Ducati Red shade and Rs 21.3 lakh for the Storm Green shade.
Visually, Ducati retains the Multistrada family identity for the MY26 V2. The motorcycle features a sleeker front fascia with an upgraded LED headlight package and new LED daytime running lights, a pronounced front beak, a sculpted 19-litre fuel tank, protective tank shrouds, a tall windscreen and a redesigned exhaust canister. Ducati also employs an aluminium monocoque frame for the model, contributing to a substantial weight reduction — the base Multistrada V2 reports a dry weight of 199 kg, reflecting an 18 kg drop versus the previous iteration.
Both the Multistrada V2 and the V2 S are powered by the same 890 cc, 90-degree V-twin that produces 115 bhp and 92 Nm of torque, paired to a six-speed gearbox. The powertrain continues Ducati’s V-twin architecture while delivering the performance figures carried forward into this updated package.
The updated Multistrada V2 introduces a redesigned 5-inch TFT colour display with three selectable information modes. It offers five riding modes — Sport, Touring, Urban, Enduro and Wet — which adjust cornering ABS, Ducati Traction Control (DTC), Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC) and Engine Brake Control (EBC) to predefined settings that can be personalised by the rider. Standard equipment includes Cruise Control, an integrated USB port in the dashboard and the Ducati Brake Light EVO, which flashes during emergency braking.
Engine: 890 cc, 90° V-Twin — 115 bhp / 92 Nm
Transmission: 6-speed gearbox
Dry weight: 199 kg (base model), ~18 kg lighter than predecessor
Fuel capacity: 19 litres
Display & modes: 5-inch TFT, three display modes, five riding modes
Ducati’s 2025 Multistrada V2 refresh concentrates on delivering a balanced mix of weight reduction, electronics and familiar design language. Within the Two-Wheelers Market, this launch reinforces Ducati’s focus on enhancing rider comfort and technological sophistication in the adventure-touring category. The combination of a lighter aluminium monocoque frame, a modernised rider interface and multiple ride modes is likely to strengthen the model’s appeal among riders seeking versatile adventure-touring capability with manageable mass. The V2 S, with its higher level of specification, provides Ducati with a clear two-tier offering that can capture buyers who prioritise premium suspension and extras, while the base V2 presents a more accessible entry point into the Multistrada lineup.
