Global AEC solutions provider Bluebeam has announced an expanded strategic partnership with construction management specialist Procore, introducing two new integrations — Procore Documents + Bluebeam and Procore Submittals + Bluebeam — aimed at removing data silos and improving collaborative workflows across the project lifecycle.
The additions build on Bluebeam’s recent Integrations Directory and product enhancements and reflect the company’s push toward an open, connected ecosystem that lets project teams use the tools they already rely on while improving cross-tool collaboration. Bluebeam says the integrations are designed to keep stakeholders working from a single source of truth.
Procore Documents + Bluebeam: Allows users to mark up files stored in Procore Documents with those markups saved automatically back to Procore, reducing the risk of version control issues. Files may also be imported into Bluebeam Studio Sessions for rapid, multi-user review.
Procore Submittals + Bluebeam: Connects Bluebeam’s markup capabilities with Procore’s Submittals workflow so teams can launch Bluebeam Studio Sessions from Procore, collaboratively review submittal PDFs, and return marked-up documents automatically to Procore, preserving a complete audit trail and removing manual steps.
“These integrations remove barriers to collaboration and keep teams focused on building, not managing documents and data,” said Luke Prescott, head of product at Bluebeam. “By deepening our integrations with Procore, we’re removing barriers to collaboration and ensuring that project teams can work more efficiently and accurately.”
Geoff Lewis, SVP of product management at Procore, added: “Seamless collaboration is critical for driving efficient and successful project delivery. Our expanded integrations with Bluebeam give customers powerful, connected workflows that reduce friction and ensure everyone is working from the same set of information.”
Strategic Outlook for AEC Technology Adoption
Bluebeam’s expanded integration strategy signals a continued industry trend toward interoperable tools that support digital transformation in construction. By linking markups, submittals, and collaborative review sessions directly with project document management, the partnership aims to reduce manual handoffs and the risk of outdated information in project delivery.
According to Next Move Strategy Consulting, the Bluebeam–Procore integrations are likely to accelerate the move toward connected, tool-agnostic workflows in the construction sector. By eliminating data silos, automating markup synchronization, and preserving audit trails inside existing project management systems, these integrations can help teams shorten review cycles, reduce rework driven by version confusion, and support broader digital transformation efforts across AEC organisations.
