Denison has released an updated estimate of post-final investment decision initial capital costs for the Phoenix project of approximately CAD 600 million (USD 437 million). This represents an increase of roughly 20% compared with the 2023 feasibility study estimate when adjusted for inflation. The company has confirmed that this updated figure now forms the basis of the project control budget, with no further revisions expected prior to the commencement of construction.

The Phoenix deposit is considered geologically suitable for this method, which is expected to reduce surface disturbance compared with conventional mining techniques.
